My Story

I Built This Because
I Needed It Too.

I have long held the belief that women are inherently strong — not necessarily because we choose to be, but because it is in our nature. When I started in this industry over a decade ago, a fire had been lit under me to share how powerful strength training is for women. It started with a kettlebell, and the love only grew as the iron got heavier.

My journey has moved through every season of womanhood. From collegiate athlete to figuring out fitness around a corporate desk job. Through the transition into motherhood, welcoming my two children and learning how strength fits into that next chapter of life. And now, navigating the ups and downs of perimenopause. Our journey as women is always changing — but one thing that stays consistent is what happens when we commit to showing up. Strength only becomes more important as we age. The best time to start was in our 20s. The next best time is right now.

What keeps me coming back is not just the feeling that strength training gives me — it is the community that gets built along the way. It is easy to put your head down and grind alone. It is way more fun to train with friends.

A note on Queen Skully, since she does make people stop and ask: she is a shout-out to the queen in every woman. The skull represents the foundation that carries us all. The slightly tipped crown is a reminder that even when it is not perfect, we still show up and rock it proudly.

When I am not coaching or leading events, you will find me at the hockey rink — lacing up my own skates or watching my kids play — moving in my home gym or outside in the sunshine, or sipping an Americano with a good book.

How I Coach

Coaching
Philosophy

01

Strength is Queen.

Strength training is the single most powerful thing a woman can do for her body — at any age, in any season of life. It builds more than muscle. It builds confidence, resilience, and the kind of energy that carries you through everything else.

02

Life is better with community.

You CAN do it alone, but you don't have to. Having people to help push you means you'll show up more consistently and have friends to help celebrate your accomplishments.

03

Age is just a number.

Strength only becomes more important as we get older — not less. Whether you are 35 or 65, your best chapter is not behind you. The work you do now is an investment in every year that follows.

04

Come as you are.

No performance required. No perfect fitness level, no right outfit, no having it all figured out. You show up. That is the whole job. Everything else gets built from there.
